Created to capture your pet’s unique character, this beautiful keepsake allows you to carry their memory with you wherever life takes you.

Every pendant is made to order in our Manchester workshop. Using your photographs, we create a digital artistic impression of your pet before casting the design in solid sterling silver. Once complete, a small amount of your pet’s ashes is carefully sealed inside the pendant forever, creating a lasting tribute that’s as unique as the bond you shared.

Unlike mass-produced pet memorial jewellery, each Bespoke Pet Portrait Pendant is individually created to reflect your pet’s distinctive features and personality. From the shape of their face to their expression, we work closely with you throughout the design process to create a keepsake you’ll treasure forever.

Your Handmade Pet Memorial Pendant

Each bespoke pet ashes pendant is individually created using:

• Your favourite photographs of your beloved pet
• A small amount of your pet’s ashes, permanently sealed within the pendant
• Solid 925 sterling silver
• Traditional jewellery-making combined with modern 3D artistry

Your pendant can also be personalised with engraving, allowing you to add a special name, date or message of up to 25 characters.

Every pendant is made to order, ensuring a completely unique memorial that can never be replicated.

How It Works

Place Your Order

Simply place your order and email your favourite photographs of your pet to info@opalsandashes.co.uk.

A clear front-on photograph and a side profile are especially helpful, as they allow us to capture the proportions of your pet’s face more accurately. Don’t worry if you don’t have the perfect images—we’ll work with you throughout the design process to ensure your pet’s unique personality shines through.

Send Us Your Pet’s Ashes

We’ll send you one of our Ashes Collection Kits, which includes everything you need to safely return a small amount of your pet’s ashes.

The kit includes a prepaid Royal Mail Special Delivery envelope, so all you need to do is visit your local Post Office. If you live in the Greater Manchester area, we’re also happy to arrange collection in person.

We’ll let you know as soon as your pet’s ashes arrive safely.

Creating Your Pet’s Portrait

While your ashes are on their way, we’ll begin creating a digital artistic impression of your pet using the photographs you’ve provided. This stage usually takes around one week.

Once we’re happy with the design, we’ll send you images showing the pendant from every angle. If there’s anything you’d like adjusted, we’ll happily make changes until you’re completely satisfied that we’ve captured your pet’s likeness.

Once you approve the design, we’ll begin the casting process before hand-finishing your pendant, permanently sealing your pet’s ashes inside, and adding your chosen engraving (if requested).

Your pendant is then sent for official UK hallmarking before being carefully packaged and returned to you.

The result is a beautiful, handcrafted keepsake that’s made especially for you, designed to last a lifetime.
